Sigurdscade 27 is a mixed-use building with a residential apartment on the north side and stores and community space on the south side. The design of Sigurdsgade 27 focuses on the implementation of planting while conforming to the neighborhood typology, and the incorporation of the existing passage on the site. This design employs greenery to tie together pedestrians, community, and individual residences. The aesthetic appeal of the vertical walls would promote pedestrian traffic, while urban farms situated on the top floors encourage community interaction. Additionally, each residential unit comes equipped with plenty of yard space, stimulating an outdoor lifestyle.
